About the Continental brand

Continental is the only German bicycle tire manufacturer to produce its tires in Germany, which is an incentive for its engineers and anyone involved in the Continental tire manufacturing process to continue working for more innovations.

As a global manufacturer, Continental Bici also has high-tech production facilities outside of Germany, where your Continental tires are built with equal care and dedication. What each and every Continental bike tire has in common is that they are developed at the technology center in Korbach, Germany, where they are subjected to strict inspections.

At the technology and development center in Korbach, Continental is continuously developing groundbreaking technologies, such as the unrivaled Black Chili component and the advanced Vectran™ breaker anti-puncture technology, both used in highly competitive motorsports, which it makes available to cyclists.

These technologies demand complex processes to ensure our legendary end product quality, and these innovations, apart from ProTection and RaceSport technologies for MTB tires, can only be manufactured in our factory in Germany: “Handcrafted in Germany”.

In order to offer the best tire for each job, Continental has a team of professional riders, cycling enthusiasts and bike owners.
