The dry extract of Turmeric rhizome used in its Pure State comes from the Curcuma longa species, native to India, and is characterized by the highest concentration of active ingredients, reaching a 25:1 ratio with respect to the fresh plant.
Standardized to 95% curcuminoids, it includes all three types of active curcuminoids present in the rhizome (curcumin, demethoxycurcumin, and bis-demethoxycurcumin) in addition to the naturally-occurring active essential oils. Strict quality controls ensure the non-adulteration of the species used as well as the absence of toxins and heavy metals.
Due to the low bioavailability of the active ingredients of turmeric, the extract used in its Pure State is accompanied by Bioperine®, a patented pepper extract that guarantees the absorption and bioavailability of curcuminoids.
