Nutrisport L-Glutamine 400 gr

Muscle tissue is made up of "proteins" , and these in turn are made up of amino acids. L- GLUTAMINE is the most abundant non-essential amino acid in muscle tissue, hence its supplementation is essential to obtain the desired muscle development, especially for those athletes whose training requires high muscle wasting. Among its numerous benefits are:

• Anti-catabolic action : L-Glutamine protects muscle mass and prevents its catabolism during prolonged fasting and training.

• Anabolic action: it is essential in the regeneration of muscle tissue. In addition, it stimulates protein synthesis allowing rapid muscle regeneration after training.

• Volumizing action: favors cell hydration, contributes to increasing its volume.

• Recovery action: it intervenes in glycogen synthesis processes and, therefore, facilitates the restoration of muscle glycogen levels.

• Immunological action: strengthens the immune system and protects against possible infections derived from physical and mental stress.

• Detoxifying action: It intervenes in the elimination of waste generated during exercise through the urea cycle.

• Anti-fatigue action: It has an important role in the acid-base balance in the body, counteracting the acidosis generated by excess lactic acid generated during exercise.

There are many reasons that support the importance of supplementing the athlete with L-GLUTAMINE .
